Dave previously worked at Portal Software where he joined in 1994 when the company was less than 10 employees and saw the company through its successful public offering, ultimately achieving a market cap in excess of $10B. During his career at Portal, Dave led the company’s business and corporate development efforts, establishing partnerships with market leading companies. Prior to joining Portal, Dave worked at Broadview International, a mergers and acquisitions advisory firm. While at Broadview, he worked on a number of both sellside and buyside projects in the software and communications spaces. Dave began his career as a corporate attorney at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, where he focused on representing technology start-ups and venture capital firms.

Currently, Dave is a board member of Five9, IP Unity, Jungo, Microfabrica and Solomio and a board observer of Konarka.

He received his undergraduate degree in International Economics from UCLA where he graduated cum laude. He holds a JD degree, attending UC Berkeley and Harvard Law Schools.
